Die Advanced Bioenergy Lab eGen wurde im Mai 2024 als Forschungs- und Technologietransfereinrichtung gegr\u00fcndet. 2026 errichtet die ABL ein Reallabor zur Produktion von hochwertigen FT-Treibstoffen (Holzdiesel) aus biogenen Reststoffen mit einer Eingangs Brennstoffw\u00e4rmeleistung von 4 MW. Nach Inbetriebnahme 2028 werden weitere Synthesegasprozesse entwickelt und demonstriert, wie Biomethan, Wasserstoff oder Hythan Produktion.<\/span><\/p>\n

Das mittelfristige Ziel ist die Errichtung zahlreicher 30 bis 50 MW Holzdiesel Anlagen in ganz \u00d6sterreich. Dazu wurden Partner aus drei Bereichen in die Genossenschaft und deren Projekte aufgenommen:<\/span><\/p>\n

Bereich Urproduktion: Die f\u00fchrenden Forstbesitzer und landwirtschaftlichen Partner sind als Genossenschafter eingebunden um das signifikante Potential an zus\u00e4tzlich vorhandener Biomasse und biogenen Reststoffen zu heben. Damit kann der Anteil am \u00f6sterreichischen Prim\u00e4renergiemix um 200 PJ vergr\u00f6\u00dfert, d.h. der Anteil erneuerbarer Energie von derzeit 35% auf \u00fcber 50% erh\u00f6ht werden.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Bereich Wissenschaft: Die Forschungseinrichtungen BEST, GET, TU Wien, BOKU, Montanuni Leoben, FHWN oder das AIT haben in den letzten 30 Jahren die Grundlagen entwickelt, welche mit dem Betrieb des Reallabors nun vereint und demonstriert werden.<\/span><\/li>\n
